Hololens development kit will cost $3000

Microsoft has announced that its Hololens development kit will set those planning on buying it back $3000. The development kit begins shipping March 30 and comes with three games: Young Conker, Fragments and RoboRaid.

Young Conker is based on the original squirrel although is developed by Asobo Studios rather than Rare and it's something Microsoft seem pretty excited about.

“It is amazing how different the play experience feels based on playing the game in your living room versus your kitchen or your bedroom,” said Microsoft’s Kudo Tsunoda, in an official blog post.

“Even starting the game from a different position in a single room creates an entirely new gameplay dynamic.”

Fragments in a crime drama which "blends the line between the digital world and the real world." And finally there is RoboRaid, an FPS with aliens bursting through your living room walls.

The development kit comes with other apps for creating games, as well as an enhanced edition of Skype.
