Forza 6: Apex is coming to PC in free-to-play form

Microsoft will release Forza Motorsport 6: Apex on PC, a slimmed down version of its Xbox One game which will arrive free to users of Windows 10 this spring.

Seattle Times broke the news, although doesn't provide any further details of the game, with the article instead focusing on how Microsoft is "100 percent committed to the PC-gaming space," something that will no doubt please PC fans.

It does seem that Microsoft is shifting its focus to PC more and more, for instance, by allowing those who purchase Quantum Break on Xbox One to get the Windows 10 copy for free. This of course helps Microsoft in the long run, as it's main business is Windows, so the more people using PC's the better it is for the company.

We'll hopefully have more details on Forza Motorsport 6: Apex later today. We'll update this story if that is the case.
