Microsoft has detailed the latest Xbox One features on the way in its next console update.
One of the main changes is that party chat will now support 16 players, while you will also be able to live stream party chat on Twitch, much like you can now on PS4. Parties can be made up of both Xbox One and/or Windows 10 players via the Xbox app.
Backwards-compatible Xbox 360 games will now be listed on the Xbox One store to purchase direct and achievements will now appear in your feed.
Achievements now have a dedicated section and the Gamerscore leaderboard will return in the Achievements section, too. Avatars will appear in your feed if you have chosen to replace your static gamerpic with your avatar and a new featured section will highlight games, deals and events.
There are also tweaks to Game DVR, allowing you to set the default length for recordings.
The update will be available for preview members this month.
