Battlefield 5 and Titanfall 2 set for 2016 release; Mass Effect now due 2017

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release in 2017, while the new Battlefield and Titanfall 2 are set for 2016.

That's according to EA's chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen, who said as much during a Morgan Stanley conference presentation, as picked up on by members of popular gaming community, NeoGaf.

"We've got a great year ahead," Jorgensen said, confirming that the company's Battlefield first-person shooter game is coming in the third quarter of this year and that Titanfall 2 will most likely be joining it.

"We have our Mirror's Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter."

Mass Effect: Andromeda was officially announced at E3 last year with a holiday 2016 release date, but with Mirror's Edge due before June and Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 5 both now due later in 2016, it appears Andromeda will now land sometime in Early 2017.

Are you excited for any of these titles?
