New and free content drops for Battlefront *update* Hutt Contracts revealed as free future update

Update: DICE and EA have released a video showing future free updates for Star Wars: Battlefront and amongst them is something called Hutt Contracts. We've no idea what this could be, however we're hoping that it is aimed at the single player.

Here's the short video.

Original: Star Wars Battlefront has received some new and free content today, adding in a new single-player/co-op Mission and a new multiplayer map.

The new Survival Mission is the Rebel Depot on Tatooine, and the new map is Survivors of Endor, which is available in Walker Assault, Supremacy and Turning Point game modes.

There was no huge fanfare about the release on any social channels, although EA did confirm its arrival via the official forums.

This latest content is not be to confused with Outer Rim, which is paid DLC arriving some time in March. We must say we're looking forward to that one.

Are you still playing Star Wars Battlefront? We love it.
