Assassin's Creed to get a 'non-game' VR experience later this year

Ubisoft has announced a virtual reality spin-off for Assassin's Creed, although it's not actually a game.

The project will release alongside the Assassin's Creed film, which is due this Christmas and it'll include scenes filmed alongside the movie.

The experience is being made by Fox and VR company Practical Magic and was revealed last night on stage at the Game Developers Conference.

We expect to hear more on Virtual Reality tonight as Sony is hosting it's own PlayStation VR event, although it's not live streamed, so any news that does come out of it will be through press releases. We will update you as soon as we get details though.

"Ubisoft has revealed Werewolves Within" - That was different, didn't expect them to be making the werewolf game into VR. (again, I bet this is what Hannah is going to do as a few of them are going and they played this when Strippin left for USA I think it was)
