Telltale's The Walking Dead to get a Third season this year

Telltale's The Walking Dead will get a Third Season this year, and it'll take new and unexpected steps to tie all the previous seasons together.

CEO Kevin Bruner said of the new season, “The way we’re validating and retaining those different play throughs is really cool, unexpected and innovative from a storytelling point of view,” he said. He also said that the team is going to be using a “bag of tricks” it has never shown before from an “interactive storytelling point of view.”

The date for The Walking Dead: Season 3 will be announced this summer.

it will be the same old QTE with about 5 mins of 'gameplay' thrown in - The other month I was playing through WD2 on Vita to get the trophies and 1 episode I literally put the vita down and only had to pick it up to move the character once, the episode played itself with the default option if you dont pick anything and completed it fine. I can't get into the machete one either. I used to like TT games with BttF, Sam and max, Monkey island (kinda) and Jurassic park. Then they hit it big with WD and since then the games have become nothing but story books with very little interactivity and a very poor 'your choices matter' process where it makes minor changes that doesn't alter the store or the feel at all.
