Dead Space arrives on EA Access

The excellent Dead Space is now available via EA Access, giving those on Xbox One who have never played, the chance to own the title for the cost of a subscription to EA's growingly popular service.

Dead Space is also part of this month's Games with Gold line-up and now joins Plants vs Zombies on EA's service. shortly after it was made backward compatible with Xbox One. We expect other backwards compatible EA titles will also arrive on Xbox One via EA Access in the future.

EA Access is £3.99 per month or £19.99 per year, but is exclusive to Xbox One, although there is a similar service on PC known as Origin Access.

A bit weird being on EA Access and it be free via Gold at the same time. You have to be careful with this. If you have Gold and EA Access then you need to "buy" it on the Xbox 360 or the Xbox store website, because EA Access grants immediate access and gives no option to buy but install only. Then if you cancel EA access you will no longer have the game to play. Xbox One games in EA Access vault give option to buy the games, but not for Xbox 360 BC games.

When I saw the "install" option my first thought was I must have simply bought it before in a sale. I could have missed out on this. MS need to tweak the Xbox ONE some more and give both options to buy and install/download like they do for the Xbox ONE games in the EA Access vault.
