The 25 Characters of Battleborn: Deande

Battleborn is out on May 3rd and unlike most other games, it comes with 25 heroes for you to choose from. Since there are so many heroes we've decided to sum up each of their abilities in a separate article.

So which Badass are you?

Deande

Once she served Lord Commander Lothar Rendain, but since his was crimes Deande has joined the Battleborn in order to undermine his plans. Deande has served as a spymaster for over 1000 years and is an immortal assassin. She uses deception and stealth as she can create a decoy of herself.

Abilities

TESSURIM WAR FANS:

Deande’s primary melee combo (RT) strings a series of rapid melee strikes, while her secondary attack (LT) hurls her fans at foes for ranged damage.

DIPLOMAT’S BATTLE GARB:

Deande’s Jennerit elite uniform, tailor-made to maximize agility, mobility, and lethality.

HOLOTWIN:

Cloaks Deande and deploys a decoy (20% health, 25% damage) to fight in her stead for 8 seconds. Upon death or expiry the decoy explodes for 20% damage.

BURST DASH:

Deande charges forward, dealing 200 damage and pushing back enemies. Hit enemies are weakened, lowering their attack damage by 30%.

BLINK STORM:

Upon activation, Deande unleashes a flurry of 10 strikes directly ahead of her, stunning enemies and dealing 50 damage per hit.

THE ELEMENT OF SUPRISE:

For 3 seconds after uncloaking, all of Deande’s skills and attacks deal 25% additional damage.

As you may know, Battleborn's accelerated character growth system allows players to level-up a character from 1 to 10 and fully experience each hero's unique weapons and powers in a single story mission or multiplayer match.

This means you'll be able to make use of Deande' Helix abilities as you work your way through the levels.

Here's a quick look at Deande in action.
