The 25 Characters of Battleborn: ISIC

Battleborn is out on May 3rd and unlike most other games, it comes with 25 heroes for you to choose from. Since there are so many heroes we've decided to sum up each of their abilities in a separate article.

So which Badass are you?

ISIC

ISIC is a Magnus, Artificial Intelligence of Staggering Complexity. He is tasks go beyond the capacity of an organic mind and therefore is 24/7 on call. This A.I.(Artificial Intelligence) was once the lead manufacturing Magnus at Minion Robotics. As ISIC loses his mind he comes back to Solus to pick one hell of a bone with the cosmos and the Battleborn Heroes that protect it.

Abilities

CHARGE CANNON

ISIC’s Charge Cannon can be fired instantly for low damage, or charged or a greater damage to multiple targets. Charging up the cannon reduces ISIC’s movement speed.

ENERGY AEGIS

ISIC’s secondary attack deploys his Energy Aegis energy shield to block 1000 incoming damage before breaking.

ROTATING WARDS

Raise 5 protactive wards that rotate around ISIC for 8 seconds, each blocking up to 225 damage. Overcharged: Each ward blocks up to 261 damage.

PLASMA DASH

ISIC Charges to a target location while engulfed in plasma, dealing 200 damage to enemies along the way. Overcharged: Deal 232 damage to hit enemies.

OMEGA STRIKE

Toggle turret mode, replacing basic attacks with weapons that deal 19 and 100 damage per shot. Overcharged: Gain 562 overshield on activation.

OVERCHARGE

Activating a skill while ISIC’s Charge Cannon is fully charged empowers that skill with additional Overcharged effects, and consumes the charge.

As you may know, Battleborn's accelerated character growth system allows players to level-up a character from 1 to 10 and fully experience each hero's unique weapons and powers in a single story mission or multiplayer match.

This means you'll be able to make use of ISIC's Helix abilities as you work your way through the levels.

Here's a quick look at ISIC in action.
