The 25 Characters of Battleborn: Benedict

Battleborn is out on May 3rd and unlike most other games, it comes with 25 heroes for you to choose from. Since there are so many heroes we've decided to sum up each of their abilities in a separate article.

So which Badass are you?

The eagle or Cyborg Hawkman known as Benedict sure thinks highly of himself and he'll drop a payload of rockets on your head in you question that.

Bennedict's a decorated war hero. He fought bravely to defend his homeworld, Madan, when the Varelsi arrived. As a result of the battle, we was gravely wounded: His left wing was utterly shattered, rendering him incapable of unassisted flight.

As his name indicates the main weapon he carries will be able to shoot rockets.

Benedict’s trademark rocketlauncher deals good damage with a wide explosion.

Look up! Benedict can go vertical for a birds-eye view of the battlefield or glide in to cover distance in a hurry.

Fires a rocket that deals 130 damage and targets your enemy for 3 seconds. Subsequent rockets home in on targeted enemies.

With a strong flap, Benedict can propel himself way above the battle. On one hand, it’s a great strategic advantage. On the other, it’s a great escape plan when Benedict is getting swarmed. Fight or…well…flight.

Benedict is about to set you up the bomb. A massive player-guided missile that can deliver its heavy-damage payload across the map. Just make sure to hit your target before the missile runs out of fuel.

Jump again in air to double-jump. Hold the Secondary Attack button to glide for a limited time.

As you may know, Battleborn's accelerated character growth system allows players to level-up a character from 1 to 10 and fully experience each hero's unique weapons and powers in a single story mission or multiplayer match.

This means you'll be able to make use of Benedict's Helix abilities as you work your way through the levels.

Here's a quick look at Benedict in action.
