The 25 Characters of Battleborn: Galilea

Battleborn is out on May 3rd and unlike most other games, it comes with 25 heroes for you to choose from. Since there are so many heroes we've decided to sum up each of their abilities in a separate article.

So which Badass are you?

Galilea

Galilea Azmozeus began life as a warrior for the Arbiters of Being, an Eldrid order charged with forcefully opposing universe-altering Jennerit technologies. On an extended deep cover mission to destroy their secret Sustainment engine, Galilea was wounded and transformed by the dark energies she sought to sabotage. Her transformation left her partly immortal but consumed by dark powers she couldn’t understand or control. So, she exiled herself to the remote icy moon of Bliss, where she sought solitude and redemption. Stories soon spread about the Wraith of Bliss–a dark and dangerous being who haunted the old temples there. After the Peacekeepers settled the moon, Galilea was recruited to their cause for one last chance to redeem herself by saving the last star.

Abilities

WRAITH’S GREATSWORD:

Galilea’s primary attack strings a series of attacks with her greatsword and greatshield into a swift combo.

SENTINEL’S GREATSHIELD:

Galilea’s secondary attack raises her Greatshield, absorbing up to 1000 damage at the cost of agility.

SHIELD THROW:

Galilea throws her Greatshield, dealing 240 damage and stunning the target for 2 seconds.

DESECRATE:

Galilea curses the ground beneath her feet, amplifying damage to enemies within the area for 8 seconds.

ABYSSAL FORM:

Galilea explodes into dark energy, dealing 149 damage over 4 seconds. During this time, Galilea takes reduced damage and regenerates 300 health.

CORRUPTION:

Attacking and using skills accelerate Galiea’s Corruption, which deals up to 32 damage per second and steals health from nearby enemies.

As you may know, Battleborn's accelerated character growth system allows players to level-up a character from 1 to 10 and fully experience each hero's unique weapons and powers in a single story mission or multiplayer match.

This means you'll be able to make use of Galilea's Helix abilities as you work your way through the levels.

Here's a quick look at Galilea in action.
