Mirror's Edge delayed into June

Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been delayed, DICE has announced. The game will now launch in North America on June 7 and Europe on June 9. This is a delay of around two weeks.

The delay has came about as the developer would like more time take player feedback into consideration from the upcoming closed beta.

"To support the Social Play features, we are using a brand new online technology," design director Erik Odeldahl wrote on the game's website. "We also want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the Closed Beta. That is why we will give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game, with a new release date for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst of June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU).

"We’re confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players."

Mirror's Edge Catalyst had previously been due to launch in February, but was pushed back to May. Let's hope the new June release date helps it get where it needs to be.

The closed beta begins on PS4, Xbox One and PC tomorrow.

Pretty expected at this point....it seems in today's generation of games aren't released until they are delayed about 3 times.... They all need to take some tips from Bethesda, they only revealed Fallout 4 when they were certain it was ready & no delays were to be expected... Alot of these developers are too quick to show off their games....without them even having a clear release date in mind...
