Tabletop Racing 'downloaded millions of times' on PlayStation Network; Coming to PC soon

Indie developer and publisher Playrise Digital today confirmed that micro-combat racer 'Table Top Racing: World Tour' will launch on Steam, Thursday, 26th May.

The developer also revealed that since launching on PlayStation Plus earlier this month, TTR: World Tour has been downloaded 'millions of times already.'

“It’s been a fantastic month seeing Table Top Racing: World Tour launch on PS4 and now arriving on PC for Steam,” commented Nick Burcombe, CEO and Game Director of TTR at Playrise Digital, “As an independent dev team of less than 10 people, we’ve been overwhelmed with the support, encouragement and enthusiasm from gamers so far. We’re responding to as many requests and questions as we can and will continue to support the game for as long as the gamers continue to support us! It's very exciting to bring TTR to Steam, I can't wait to see what the PC gamers make of it. TTR is all about fun and a good laugh with your friends online, as millions of PS4 gamers just found out”.

We've yet to try the game out as yet, well it has been a busy month. We do have it downloaded though, so we'll likely get around to it soon.

What about you?

of course it was downloaded millions of times - it was the free game this month - so everyone on PSPlus will have got it and tried it out - they should publish how many people actually bought it....

Have to agree with Turnip only been popular cause its free. I still haven't tried it out yet. Weather forecast shit the weekend (Birmingham anyway) so will probably check it out then.

So, does that mean Rocket League was only popular because that was free?

@Dave no mate if a game is good in its own way of course it deserves recognition. I actually meant is that I doubt they wouldn't of hit the "millions" of downloads if it wasn't free and thats why so many people have tried it out/downloaded it. If it is a good game then it deserves its popularity through its deserved merits not because its free.
