GT Sport will release on November 16 in Europe; November 18 in the UK

Sony has announced the release date of Gran Turismo Sport, revealing that it will launch on November 16, 2016, with a November 18 release for the UK.

Gran Turismo Sport is developed by Polyphony Digital and was announced at the 2015 Paris Games Week. It is the thirteenth game overall in the Gran Turismo video game series, although this latest title is not part of the numbered series.

GT Sport features three game modes - Campaign, Sports Mode, and Arcade Mode, as well as offering offline and online racing. It'll also provide support for PlayStation VR. The game will also include a photo mode which looks pretty impressive and of course a livery editor too.

Tracks from earlier games have been rebuilt from the ground up to match the performance of the PS4, while cars will be split into four groups, each including a mix of real world & fantasy vehicles. There will be 137 cars, with all having being remodelled from scratch from Gran Turismo 6.

As for track count there will be 19 locations and 27 different layouts, including the new Tokyo Express Way, Dirt Tracks and more.

Gameplay will be shown via a live stream starting at 18.45pm tonight. You can watch below.

4K photo mode. So thats why they are bringing PS4k out, lol. I think anyone wanting to play this game with PSVR will need a PS Neo(4K), unless they want to play with seriously reduced graphics quality.

PS4K so you can look at pictures in 4k but not play games in it, and it will be £400 you couldnt make it up. Really curious to see what they bring to the table. Hopefully its one of those moments where you go ooooh didnt see that coming and not just a tiny upgrade to satisy the PSVR and so you can look at your cars in still image 4k ahaha which is whats likely id say
