Nintendo's 3DS has now sold over 60 million units

Nintendo's 3DS has now sold over 60 million units worldwide, marking quite the milestone for the handheld.

In comparison, the Game Boy Advance sold 80 million, while the standard DS sold an amazing 154 million, although with games such as Pokémon Sun and Moon this Christmas, whose to say that 3DS won't add a few more million to that total before the year is out.

We're certainly still big fans of the Nintendo 3DS, although we are pretty excited to see what Nintendo does next in the handheld space.

Is that all it has sold till now?! But it's easily its best handheld console EVER!! So glad I missed out on the Gameboy Advance and the regular DS (I was about to purchase the regular DS and then the rumor mill started going on about a 3DS, so I managed to hold out!) as the New 3DS XL is a marvelous companion, even compared to mobile phone app gaming ^0^!! And WASN'T it Nintendo and the 3DS XL which brought Senran Kagura to Western shores?! And then silly, little Tecmo emulated it by telling its punters 'look, shiny new Senran Kagura, rupturable costume pack, only £30, all in or £75 in Season Costume pack 1 with added Marie Rose Angel costume' ^0^ o_0!!
