Sony is unsure when or where it'll host its European press conference this year, but it's likely to be either at gamescom or Paris Games Week.
Speaking to VG247.com, PlayStation Europe boss Jim Ryan responded to a question about the conference by saying, "It's not decided. It’s a tough one to call. It’s a balancing act between timing, availability of software, announcements to be made.
"We've had a long history of enjoying Gamescom, we went to Paris last year and really enjoyed that with such an iconic venue. So plans are still afoot..."
One of the main reasons for Sony not hosting a press conference at Gamescom last year was timing, with the European show taking place a week earlier than normal and E3 a week later. This didn't leave much of a gap to arrange a conference, therefore Sony decided to host at the ever growing Paris Games Week instead.
It'll be interesting to see what Sony has in mind for its next conference, what with rumours of PS4K and the upcoming release of PlayStation VR.
