Xbox LIVE Avatars will soon get wheelchairs

Microsoft is set to introduce wheelchairs for avatars on Xbox LIVE.

The news comes after Phil Spencer replied to a fan mentioning a petition, saying "This is something that we've already looked at, not far off."

Microsoft's Mike Ybarra then also replied, even showing pictures of what the wheechairs will look like.

As you can see from the images, the avatars look a lot more detailed than usual, so perhaps all avatars will be upgraded soon.

You're very ignorant aren't you? The avatar function was a way of creating a 'virtual you' - if you were disabled yet you could only create an able-bodied version of yourself then i'm sure that would upset you and not feel right. They are adding something that will benefit a large amount of console games, plus it doesn't affect those who choose not to use it. Why do you think a lot of games these days lets you pick the sex of your character? Same reason.
