EA has announced that the Star Wars: Battlefront 'Death Star' DLC will be released this September, while a new Offline Bot system will be added next week.
The DLC will have both ground and space maps, as well as new weapons, Star Cards and two new heroes. Apparently one of the heroes is the "larger-than-life character we know you've been patiently waiting for" - could that be Chewie?
EA will give a sneak peak at the DLC from 7pm BST on Saturday during a livestream at this weekend's Star Wars Celebration.
If you are waiting for more content, then you'll likely be happy to know that the game will also get an offline 'Skirmish' mode next week. This will allow you to take on bots in single-player or via local split-screen. In Skirmish Mode you'll be able to play Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron across "multiple locations", although it appears to be for console only and not PC at this time.
