The DLC sees Lara's uncle contest ownership of Croft Manor, so this means Lara has to root around to prove she is the rightful heir. There's also a new zombie mode too, known as Lara's Nightmare.
Finally, you'll be able to play the game via five classic Lara Croft models from games over the years. Sounds good.
Of course all of this new content, excluding VR support will be available on Xbox One and PC too, too, although PC and Xbox One players will have to pay up to get Blood Ties, unless they have the season pass.
"This year we celebrate 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. “This provided the perfect opportunity for us to deliver a new Tomb Raider experience. With the addition of PlayStation VR support, you can play the world through Lara’s eyes for the first time in franchise history.”
