Rocket League now have over 19 million players

Psyonix has announced that there are now 19 million players enjoying Rocket League.

This figure is in addition to the impressive $110 million worth of revenue generated by the game as of June 2.

These numbers don't even include downloads from when the game was free as part of PlayStation Plus, making it all the more impressive.

Rocket League was released on PC and PlayStation 4 in July 2015 and Xbox One in February 2016.

Congrats to the team.

If you're thinking about buying this game jump on board. The devs are constantly firing out free content and updates and they really listen to the community. One of my all time favorite games.

wonder how many of the 19m are people like myself who got it free on ps plus - I would imagine that would have been about 10m+ users

@Turniplord Read the article again and you'll see that number DOES NOT include those that got it free on PS+

@neo - if you google the tweet and look at the sources of the story, they devs never once say it doesn't include the free users, it links to a prev statement about the 110m they made and 5m users which didn't include the free ones on ps4.at that date it was 5m purchases and 15m lifetime users, so i still think about 10m of the above is ps plus. It honestly looks like other articles have mixed up the last statement with this new tweet.
