PlayStation Plus games for August revealed

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus games update for August.

First up is Tricky Towers, a new title from WeirdBeard Games with local and online multiplayer for two to four players. It's a bit like Tetris, but not. We have a review for you in just a few minutes, so read that and find out more.

Next up is Rebel Galaxy. Here you take the helm of a destroyer as you make your reputation through trade, by being a work-for-hire mercenary or a pirate. A bit like No Man's Sky it gives you a procedurally generated universe to play in, so no two star systems are the same and there’s always something new to discover.

Here's the Full lineup:

- Tricky Towers (PS4)
- Rebel Galaxy, (PS4)
- Yakuza 5 (PS3)
- Retro/Grade (PS3)
- Patapon 3 (PS Vita)
- Ultratron (PS Vita, PS3, PS4)

So everyone was right about Yakuza being this month - they never disabled mine I grabbed last month so I thought they would do this - plus with the announcement that Yakuza zero is coming to PS4 only in Jan, it gives you something to play while you wait :)

It's rare that the free games are worth downloading, disappointing but used to it now

Playstation really is an inferior service to Xbox Live on so many levels. Next year when Xbox has miles more power Sony might as well pack up and just go home. As they say "GAME OVER"

Just watched the vid - couldn't before as was in work - that Rebel Galaxy looks okay actually - will try it out as usual. I still recommend everyone go and play Yakuza though - its like GTA but so much better.
