Microsoft confirm that Blue Dragon will come to backwards compatibility on Xbox One

Microsoft will release Blue Dragon on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, the company has announced.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed the news to a fan on Twitter and while no release date was mentioned, it's still good to know that one of Microsoft's JRPG efforts is getting some attention.

For those who don't know, Blue Dragon is an open world JRPG with traditional turn-based mechanics. It has a few twists to combat based on characters speed and magic too. It proved pretty popular when first released, although perhaps didn't hit the heights that Microsoft was looking for.

I could never get into Blue dragon - I tried but it didn't feel 'right'. I preferred Lost Odysey - Wonder if that will ever get BC or a re-release. That was my FFX - The part where you meet your old daughter was just like Aeris. The cartoon series of Blue Dragon was good tho
