No Man's Sky to get its latest patch on PS4 later this week

No Man's Sky's next update is scheduled to release later this week, according to Hello games.

The studio also explained the process for finding bugs, as well as revealing that the patches include other fixes and improvements in addition to those reported.

"If a PS4 crashes, it sends us a crash dump. Over the last week since the game came out we categorised and fixed these in order of priority," Tweeted the studio.

"This has been incredibly useful, and allows us to know exactly how many people are affected. Thank you.

"Patch 1.04 fixes 75% of crash issues for PS4 was released Friday. Patch 1.05 fixes 87% of crash issues for PS4 was released Sunday.

"Patch 1.06 fixes 90% of crash issues for PS4 is in testing and will release this week."

Hello Games has said that it "won’t stop until all issues are 100% resolved," although how long that will take is anyone's guess.

Never buy a game on release is the lesson ive learnt. Wait 6 months for all the patches to come through, to play the game as it was suppose to be. And cheaper of course. Companys like the department of trade and industry need to look into review embargos they need to be made illegal, games should not be allowed to be released until its 100% bug free
