PS4 Pro does not support 4K Blu-Ray

In what seems like an oversight of some sort, but it's been confirmed by Stuff that the PS4 Pro will not include a 4K Blu-Ray Drive.

We're trying to confirm this 100 percent ourselves, but considering that Sony didn't mention one during its conference and with Stuff having no reason to make it up, then we are guessing then is no reason to misbelieve this information.

It seems an odd move, although the PS4 Pro will get a 4K Netflix app and 4K YouTube support, so perhaps Sony thought that this would suffice.

We have asked a few others who are attending the event, so if we hear otherwise we will update this story.

Bit strange, maybe it was to keep costs down? Or maybe its something they can update later - as in, it has the drive but no 4k player - like how you had to download it on the Xbox One S when it went live?
