Fallout 4 and Skyrim won't be getting mods on PS4

Sony has made the decision not to allow Mods for Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition in the way they currently work.

It's hard to know why Sony made this decision, it could be due to the quality of the mods or perhaps a security issue. Either way it sounds like Bethesda are trying to figure out another way around this. For now though it's not happening.

not a biggie - most mods i've seen being used on the xbox slow down performance and just work as cheats (not to mention all the issues with people stealing other peoples mods). Bit of a shame for Skyrim as I usually have space Marines as my companions and flying Thomas the tank engines - ah well. It probably opens the console up to receiving files that could harm the console.
