Battlefield 4's DLC goes free for PlayStation and Xbox owners *update* Until September 19

Update: EA and Dice have confirmed that the Battlefield 4 DLC, which is currently available for free, will be available at a 100% discount until September 19 on the PlayStation Store and Xbox One.

"As we approach the end of the road, we’ve got something really special for anyone looking to get some Battlefield 4 action in before Battlefield 1 ships on October 21, says Dice. "From September 14 until September 19, every expansion pack for Battlefield 4 is now available for free. That’s right, all of ‘em. And we’ve even got themed Community Missions to go along with them."

Go grab them before the price goes up again.

Original: EA has announced that all Battlefield 4 DLC is now free to download on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Premium pack still seems to be £39.99 if purchased as one package, however if you download each DLC individually then you can get them from free.

This news was confirmed via both Major Nelson's Blog and the PlayStation Blog, although there's no word if there is a time limit to this deal or if it's just part of EA's Road to Battlefield 1 strategy.

Either way, it's pretty great, especially if you own the base game.
