Beam is coming to Xbox One and PC

Streaming platform Beam, which was recently acquired by Microsoft, is coming to both Xbox One and PC later this year.

Beam delivers streams with under one second of delay, therefore allowing interaction with users to work seamlessly.

Users of Beam can also take control of the game, something which is quite a unique experience, thanks to the unique system which avoids delays in the stream.

I saw this a few weeks ago - I don't know how they have managed to get it with such a low delay - if it works then I can imagine a lot of streamers may move over to this platform (as long as it allows donations and subscriptions). The interactive part sounds interesting as well, but i've only seen it demoed on Minecraft, not quite sure what other games may use it - Akiba's Trip used Twitch integration with viewer participation, but nobody used it! (I did, it was fun)
