The PlayStation 4 Pro version of Killing Floor 2 features the following enhancements:

-1800p checkboard rendering on 4K TV (3200x1800) optimized for 4K TVs
- Effectively supersampling and increased fps on HDTV
- Using additional memory to increase texture resolution to "Ultra Textures"

Killing Floor 2 is developed by Tripwire Interactive and will be published by Deep Silver. The game will be available globally on November 18, 2016.

So do you just buy the Playstation 4 version or what ? I dont see any Playstation 4 pro version on this site. So I'm guessing it will know i have a pro when entering the disk into the slot.

@trance, all Pro games are PS4 games, so work in both - there will be something on the box though which says its enhanced for the Pro. So one you play it, it knows what machine you have and it will either run at Original PS4 mode or (most likely) there will be options for what enhancements you want - like same FPS but better graphics, or same graphics but better FPS. Some games, like this, seem to be stating it will do both so it will probably just default to Pro mode.

Just as i thought Turnip and it was just the written article that shopto wrote about Killing Floor 2 that was a tad confusing which led me to believe that there would be a playstation 4 version and a Pro version which kind of made no sense, thanks for the reply mate. By the way this game came out of the blue didnt it ?

It doesn't look noticeably better to me. Pretty much just looks like current PS4 games. But i suppose that is to be expected. Essentially the PRO is just a PS4 with boosted GPU and RAM, which really, will just be able to provide better frame rates and slightly better resolutions. Still early days....

@Trance, I've known about KF2 coming to PS4 for a while, just wasn't sure it if was going to be F2P like Warframe. I have the original on PC - its kinda fun, like a Left4Dead competitor. Just seen KF2 is £30 on Steam and in early access, PC and PS4 all due to be officially released on 18th nov, so thats cool, hopefully means no bugs and decent scaling due to it being on EA for about 18 months

@bungle - have you got a 4k TV/Monitor? If not then you wont see the video as intended - you will be seeing a 1080p version of it.I can't think of any current PS4 games that look as sharp or detailed in areas as the above video. The true comparison will e hen its out and someone plays it on both an original and a Pro - chances are on an original its 30fps and the above is clearly 60fps.

Yeah, i watched it on my 4k PC monitor at work. Like you say Turnip the tests/reviews will be out soon and we can all see the comparisons :)
