SEGA has today released the first gameplay trailer for squad based shooter, Binary Domain, which they have revealed is set to be released in early 2012.
The trailer, which is made entirely from in-game footage, introduce’s the game’s story by explaining that machines have evolved to the point where they are simply more powerful than humans, leaving society in a state of panic and depression. Set in Tokyo, in the year 2080, humans need to put an end to the evolution of technology, before things get even further out of hand.
Binary Domain puts a lot of emphasis on the squad mechanics and will focus heavily on team work and group decisions, even in the singleplayer campaign.”Players must motivate and build trust with their team, adapt under pressure and make real time decisions knowing there will always be consequences that affect the squad and future missions”
Binary Domain will be releasing on Xbox 360 and PS3 next year, you can pre-order a copy here (PS3) or here (360) for £36.85.
