Once released, MX vs ATV Alive will see new downloadable content every two weeks, which is why, according to THQ, the racer will retail for a much cheaper than usual £29.99 in UK.
Ali Bouda, Global Brand Manager for THQ, recently told MCV, “We have extensive DLC available from the first day and are planning to release new content every other week over several months.
“This experimental model lends itself to the game,” he said, “because the game is about environments, tracks and vehicles – not about a continuing story, like Homefront and Saints Row.”
Does this seem like a good idea to you? Would you rather buy a cheaper game and be able to choose the extra content? Let us know.
You can pre-order MX vs ATV Alive for only £23.86 on PS3 and Xbox 360 at Shopto, saving you even more money.
