E3 to be streamed live in PlayStation Home

Sony has already announced that it’ll stream E3 live from the PS Blog, well now it has also announced that PlayStation Home will also feature an exclusive stream.

For the first time ever, PlayStation Home will host a live public video stream of the Sony E3 press conference on Monday in a special screening room, allowing you to watch SCEA President and CEO Jack Tretton reveal all of the big E3 announcements and watch never-before-seen footage of tons of upcoming PS3 and NGP titles.

In addition the PlayStation Home E3 Virtual Booth is also returning! The virtual booth was visited by five times more people than physically attended E3 2010 last year, allowing gamers to explore a virtual recreation of PlayStation’s E3 booth. This year suprises include a 3D-rendered NGP to inspect from every angle as well as other items to unlock and find.

Finally, the PlayStation.Blog team will be streaming live game demonstrations straight from the show floor into PlayStation Home, so it sounds like being at E3 from your PlayStation 3 may not be such a bad thing.

The above information comes from the US PS Blog, so we can’t confirm at this time if Europe will be getting the same treatment.
