Jane Jensen’s Gray Matter has been pushed back until 25th February 2011. The delay relates to both Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. The development team and dtp Entertainment had been working extremely hard to finish the game for it’s original release date of October 2010, but due to the time frames Lace Mamba Global have no alternative but to delay the release until the chosen date.
Jason Codd of Lace Mamba Global went onto explain the reasons behind their decision “I understand that this is very frustrating for consumers who have pre-ordered the game and we are very disappointed also as we have been building up to the release, started our marketing and PR but due to the tight time frames, and the need for more polishing of the game we had no alternative but to make a quick decision and delay the product until February. This will give the development team more time in ensuring that the game measures up to the standards that have been set, and we now know for certain that the date we have is the date Gray Matter will be available”.
Gray Matter has been in the making for a number of years and stands as one of the most anticipated upcoming adventure games of 2010. Developed by adventure game veteran Jane Jensen, Gray Matter will be the first game by the famous adventure author since the release of Gabriel Knight 3 in the 90’s. Staying true to Jensen’s style, the story weaves gruesome incidents and supernatural events.
