I'd firstly like to say that I am not a PS3 fanboy and have owned an Xbox 360. I took the decision early last year to trade it in for a PS3 and have never looked back! In my opinion my Xbox 360 was good, but had several serious flaws. Firstly the fan noise was very distracting, especially when playing movies. I also found that the system did not represent good value for money, as Xbox Live, a wireless adapter, wireless controller, etc all cost extra! The PS3 comes with Dualshock 3 wireless as standard, inbuilt wifi and free online gaming. Finally I think that the build quality of the PS3 is excellent. It is the far superior machine and a better buy, especially with all the good exclusives such as Uncharted 2 and GT5 coming out this Christmas.
