Delivery Terms And Conditions

Here are answers to the most common question we receive about shipping and delivery of orders.

How much will my delivery cost?

ShopTo.Net offers free shipping and delivery on all products to uk customers! International delivery is between £3.50 and £4.50 due the flucuation of currency but most often will be around £4.11. This does not apply to any purchase of hardware which is calculated on weight.

How long will my order take to reach me?

If you are in the UK Mainland and have ordered items that are in stock you can expect to receive your order either the day after you ordered from us or within a few days after your order date. If you are not in the UK times will vary depending on your countries import regulations and postal service. Please check with your local Post Office for an estimate on how long it takes to ship items from the UK to your country.

My order has not arrived what shall I do?

Firstly please check that the postal service has not left you any cards or notes stating that they tried deliver your parcel while you were out. If you do find one of these cards please follow the instructions on the card to arrange another delivery. If no card has been left please contact your local mail sorting office to see if they have any information on your package.

We ship all games via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Royal Mail First Class. Usually this is very reliable but occasionally parcels get delayed in the Royal Mail network. If your delivery has not arrived in 3 WORKING DAYS for the UK or 28 WORKING DAYS for the rest of the world (from when you receive your dispatch email) then you are eligible to claim for a replacement via our Lost Parcel Claim form found under My Account > Orders.

Please do not contact us any sooner than 3 WORKING DAYS for the UK or 28 WORKING DAYS for the rest of the world as there is nothing we can do to help until this deadline is reached. Please Note that during December Royal Mail are very busy and next day delivery may not always be possible, please allow 14 days before contacting us.

Can I ship to a different address from the billing address?

Yes! Due to popular demand we have recently introduced this option. You can set the delivery address from the "My Account" section of the website or when you checkout you can click "change delivery address" before confirming the order. Due to the speed with which we have to process orders to ship them the same day we are unable to change the delivery address of an order AFTER the order has been placed.

For security reasons your first and second order must be shipped to the address where your credit cards are registered. After you have completed one order you will be able to supply an alternative delivery address.

How will my order be shipped?

We will ship normal sized orders via Royal Mail recorded delivery. For orders containing heavier items such as hardware or console machines we will use a courier to deliver your item. The exact postal service we use depends on the weight of your order. All orders from ShopTo.Net require signing for on delivery, this protects both us and our customers.

When will you dispatch my order?

We dispatch orders every working day up until 5.30pm. We do not dispatch orders over the weekend or during public holidays. There is an exception to this rule as however during busy periods (such as Christmas) we may dispatch on a Saturday.

A lot of our orders are dispatched the same day we receive the order otherwise we will dispatch orders within 1- 3 business days of receiving your order. For items that are not in stock or which are preordering we will dispatch these items as soon as we have the item in stock.

I ordered two games but only one arrived!

Don't panic! 99% of the time your game has just been delayed in the post. At ShopTo.Net we ship each game you order individually via recorded delivery. All the parts of your order will always be processed and shipped on the same day but occasionally they may get separated in the post such that one arrives a day before the other. Please read My order has not arrived what shall I do above.

My order arrived but it was empty!

At ShopTo.Net we ship each game you order individually via recorded delivery in a padded "jiffy" bag. Due to processes in place in our warehouse it would be highly unlikely that we would ship an empty bag so the only reason you would receive an empty bag is if someone has tampered with it in the post.

When you receive any delivery (not just from us) and are asked to sign for it you are supposed to check the delivery before signing, however most of us don't like holding up the postie while checking so we just sign. It is not by chance that at ShopTo.Net we only send one game in a bag and not a box - if someone has removed it it would be very obvious as you would not be able to feel anything in the bag so you should handle the parcel before signing and also check that it does not look like it has been opened.

If you do receive an empty package you SHOULD NOT SIGN FOR IT. If it is signed for then it is much harder for us (you) to persuade Royal Mail that it is their fault. Please check packages and if they are empty refuse to sign and contact us, we will ship you another that day and recover the money for a lost parcel from Royal Mail. If the parcel has been tampered with then open it and check the contents in front of the postie then only sign if all the contents are as expected.
