CONMEBOL Libertadores Coming to FIFA 20
In an announcement that most weren’t expecting, EA have revealed that the Copa Libertadores will be coming to FIFA 20 in the new year. The competition will feature in the game starting in March and it looks set to be a pretty big addition. Much like the World Cup mode, it will be playable within Career Mode and Kick off whilst also getting its own dedicated tournament mode. Players will be able to play with iconic South American teams including Boca Juniors and River Plate, two huge teams that have been missing from the game so far this year. What does this mean exactly? Well, its new content which makes the game feel more realistic, it will allow us to play with teams that we couldn’t before and hopefully, the new mode will be good fun and offer a decent gameplay experience. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we get some content linked to the competition within Ultimate Team, maybe something similar to the road to the final promos. Check out the trailer for the new addition below:
As mentioned then, this new content won’t be coming to the game until March but at least we have something to look forward to! I think this is a decent addition to be fair and should bring some hype back to the game during a time where its somewhat declining.
