Obsidian, the team behind the recent smash hit The Outer World’s, have revealed their next project and it’s a bit of a departure from their usual games. Grounded is a new survival game with an interesting twist which sees the player control some very small characters. This a really cool concept and I think it could make for a pretty interesting game! The player must explorer and urban backyard, gathering materials in order to build bases and survive. We will be able to work alongside peaceful insects and battle against some larger, hostile enemies as well. The games tag line is Go Big or Never Go Home and that to me, suggests that the overall objective is to perhaps find out why you are so small and return to normal life but I guess we’ll have to wait and see for clarity on just what heck is going on! Grounded will be an Xbox exclusive when it launches next year into Game Preview and ultimately Game Pass so I’m sure we will get platy of content between now and then. I genuinely think that this could be a decent game. It has an interesting premise and im excited to see how deep they go with the game.
