The big game from Square Enix’s conference last night was Marvel’s Avengers and it. Looks. Awesome! The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and looks set to feature the full classic avengers cast in a new story line which starts at A-Day, a tragedy which the Avengers were blamed which subsequently caused them to disband. This storyline sounds pretty interesting to me being a hugs Marvel fan. Hopefully we will get to see characters in some different situations as opposed to the regular saving the day malarkey. The Avengers aren’t designed to look like their real life actors, just as Spider Man wasn’t in last years game. I’m guessing this is to keep the universes separate which is a good idea I think, especially if the game doesn’t turn out to be that great! Its set to release on May 15^th on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. There will also be a beta which is coming first to PS4 and you can pre-order now for access! Check out the trailer below:

Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix are excited to unveil Marvel’s Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020.
 

After we got Spider Man which was great last year, could we get another epic Marvel game? its certainly looking like it and my fingers are firmly crossed!
