The latest update for Red Dead Online was announced by Rockstar the other day and it looks to bring a train load of new content to the game! The new update titled Frontier Pursuits will be dropping next Tuesday (September 10th) and it looks to add a lot of new features to the mode with Roles, new content and gameplay changes making headlines. The biggest addition is the new Roles system which brings three differing occupations to the game, each with their own rank and progression system. The Bounty Hunter role will see you take on bounties and track down criminals for cash. Bring the target in alive for extra rewards and team up with a Posse to split the earnings. The Trader role is all about sourcing items that can be turned into sellable goods. These can be obtained by hunting animals and completing resupply missions. Should you become successful enough, you might find some other jealous traders raiding your camp so you might want to keep an eye out! The final role is the one I’m most excited about. The Collector role is all about treasure hunting and will have you searching for discarded Tarot cards, buried treasures and hidden family heirlooms. This sounds right up my street as I love a good treasure hunt! Progressing through roles will see you earn new items, benefits and skills to enhance your experiences across the world of Red Dead online. Check out the trailer for the new update below:

As mentioned, this huge update is coming for free to Red Dead Redemption 2 owners next Tuesday! It really does look as though this is going to add a lot of content to Red Dead Online and I’m pretty excited to check it out!
