ShopTo Gaming Discussion 17/06/19 – And Relax…
| 2019-06-14

Good morning everyone, I hope you’ve all had a great weekend and enjoyed last weeks E3 madness! Yes, this article series lives on! I thought it would be best to wait until after the E3 rush to bring back ye olde discussion article as I knew it wouldn’t get much attention last week and I also thought it would be better to invest my time in other articles too. Anyway, we’re here again and I hope you are liking the new look ShopTo Blog! I've re-designed article styles and started to make a few other improvements which should make the blog a much better reading experience for you all. Just to make things clear, the blog is literally just a name change for ShopTo News, we’re still going to be bringing you all the usual content (and a few new additions) so don’t worry about that! Our gaming chart series will resume next week as I am currently on holiday in Barcelona without my laptop so I can’t get a fresh chart article done for you guys, normal service will resume next week.

Discussion Topic: What did you think of E3 2019?

Georges Answer: As I mentioned in my summary article, I wasn’t all that impressed by this year’s expo. Yes, we did see a few big reveals here and there but overall, the games shown weren’t that exciting. I fully understand that this is because next gen is just a year away and that next years event should be a real banger but come on, we didn’t even get some teasers of huge games like we got from Nintendo. I guess the event wasn’t terrible and It has got me excited for a few games.

Out This Week

Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled – PS4, Xbox One and Switch – June 21st

Crash is back in the driver’s seat! Get ready to go fur-throttle with Crash? Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. It’s the authentic CTR experience, now fully-remastered and revved up to the max:

- Start your engines with the original game modes, characters, tracks, power-ups, weapons and controls

- Power slide to glory in additional karts and tracks from beyond the original game

- Race online with friends and Crash the competition with online leaderboards

With Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the stakes are high and the competition is fierce. It's the CTR you love, now kicked into the highest gear.

There we go then, the return of the discussion article is complete! As I said, I am away at the moment so articles this week might be a little less frequent but everything will be back to normal next week with the return of the Chart and regular gaming news and reviews. Have a great week everyone!

I am looking forward more to the PS5 than Scarlett. I can then replace my Pro with a quiet console hopefully. I was over joyed with the news that Phantasy Star Online 2 was coming to Xbox, but then afterwards realised it was North America only, so then gutted, although hopefully by the time it releases in Spring 2020, it will be available in UK and everywhere else, but for now they just secured it for NA. I wish they admitted this at E3. Backwards Compatibility has now ended on Xbox ONE, but all games that can play on Xbox ONE can be played on Scarlett, but I hope they carry on BC with Scarlett, especially if next gen titles are scarce on Scarlett. I wonder if they will make Scarlett games also work on Xbox ONE but lower specs, or if they will still make a Xbox ONE version and a Scarlett version for a while like they did at start with Xbox ONE, where there was last gen and new gen versions for Alien Isolation, Wolfenstein, Destiny etc? If there is not many next gen only titles to play then I will not be getting Scarlett day one, but will be glad to get PS5 if it is quieter.
