UK Gaming Chart Week 20 May 20th
Week 20 is here already and its time to take a look at how the UK gaming charts line-up this time around. I'm expecting a more interesting chart this time around so hopefully, that’s what we end up with! So then, let’s get straight into it and see what us gamers bought last week! Taking the top spot in its debut week we have Rage 2 which sold well, but not to the same degree that the first game in the series did which I find really interesting as the original Rage did not appeal to me at all and the second one really does. Nevertheless, it has topped the charts so people obviously want to be playing it! Second place goes to Days Gone which drops out of the top spot for the first time since its launch last month. Third place is held by FIFA 19 which seems to really like that spot as its been sat there for a fair while now! Fourth place is occupied by Mortal Kombat 11 which drops to its lowest placing since launch last month with Red Dead breathing down its neck in fifth. Sixth place is held by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with GTA 5 dropping two places to seventh this week. The Division 2 falls one place in a week where its first raid went live to mixed feedback and we have another new entry in A Plague Tale: Innocence in ninth. Rounding off the top 10 this week we have New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. Check out the full top 40 below
There we go then! I expected Rage 2 to take the top spot and the rest of the top 10 was fairly uneventful although A Plague Tale down in ninth was a bit of a surprise. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered which also launched last week only managed thirteenth but I’m sure it sold fairly well digitally. Let me know what you think of this weeks chart down in the comments and if you want to pick up a copy of any of the top four games, check out the product links down there also. This has been the worst online retailer site update in history!
There could have been a news article beforehand warning of update, and FAQ of known issues, instead of getting stressed out and confused. Some people even ended up paying full price for preorders when choosing pay later.
