UK Gaming Chart Week 41 07/10/19
| 2019-10-07

Week 41, how have week made it to week 41 already? Where has the year gone?! Anyway, its Monday, you’re on the ShopTo blog so what can that mean? Its chart time of course! After last weeks chart was delayed for tech reasons, we should be back on the usual schedule of posting every Monday so don’t worry about that. So, after FIFA dropped last week, will it hold that top spot? I would imagine so but let’s have a look anyway! As expected, FIFA is sitting pretty atop the chart once again as EA’s marketing campaign continues to ravage every platform available. Last weeks new release Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint debuts in second place which I imagine is pretty disappointing for the team at Ubisoft. It appears to be a great game although some users are reporting quite a few bugs which is a bit of a shame. Moving down to third place we find Borderlands 3 which has continued to sell well after a fair few weeks in the top three now. it’s a fantastic game and it definitely deserves to keep selling well! Moving down to fourth, we see Gears 5 hold on for another week. Its another solid game but I’m not sure how much longer it will remain in the top five. Links Awakening is our first Switch title on the list and that sits in an honourable fifth place this week. Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered has had a banging week debuting in sixth pushing Mario Kart 8 down to seventh. Sea Of Thieves drops one place to eighth this week with Minecraft holding ninth just below. Rounding off the chart this week we have Forza Horizon 3 which of course, as with the two titles above it, has benefitted hugely from Xbox bundle sales! Check out the full top 40 below:

There we go then, a fairly interesting affair with some very unexpected games still holding their place in the top 10. Its great to see Borderlands and Gears 5 holding those positions as more and more big releases are dropping each week. Let me know your thoughts on this chart down in the comments below and as always, make sure to keep it ShopTo for all the latest gaming news, reviews, competitions and more.
