UK Gaming Chart Week 44 29/10/19
| 2019-10-29

We’re just two days away from Halloween and there have been a few spooky occurrences in this weeks chart, how fitting eh? Anyway, we had several new games release last week so as you would expect, we have a pretty interesting chart this week! So without any further ado, lets get straight into this weeks top 40! Topping the charts, as expected in its debut week, Call of Duty Modern Warfare is straight in at the top. It sold better than Black Ops 4 and the hype around the game seems to be much higher than any of the recent entries into the series so I expect to see it sitting in the top 5 for many, many weeks to come. Moving down to second place, we have last weeks number one, FIFA 20 which continues to outsell even the biggest of new releases! Third place goes to another new entry and its not the one I expected, WWE 2K230, yes that buggy mess takes third despite selling much less than last years title and receiving a host of poor reviews. It’s an interesting occurrence and I am interested to see how long the game remains in the top 10. Fourth place goes to another banging new entry in The Outer Worlds which should have sold better than it has. I guess it lost out on some Xbox sales due to its availability within Xbox Game Pass but still, I would expect to see this game climb or at least hold its placing over the next few weeks. Yet another new entry sits in fifth and it’s a game I haven’t heard much about, Medievil claims that final top five spot. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes sixth place falling four places since last week and Ring Fit Adventure has a similar fall down to seventh. Ghost Recon Breakpoint falls four places to eighth as it clings on to that top 10 placing for what could sadly be its last week. PVZ Battle For Neighbourville is down to ninth and rounding off the top 10 this week we have Minecraft. Check out the full top 40 below:

There we go then, a pretty interesting week complete with a host of new releases! I’m looking forward to seeing how some games hold on with the continual onslaught of big games dropping between now and Christmas, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! Let me know your thoughts on this chart down in the comments below and as always, make sure to keep it ShopTo for all the latest gaming news, reviews competitions and more.
