Rumours have been flying around regarding Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s spec ops mode which will be releasing with the game this October. From what we have heard from Infinity Ward, it sounds like this third mode will be a continuation of the campaign in some ways and bring co-op action back to series. Outside of this third mode, we have also been hearing reports that the game will come with some sort of free mode which will be available to players who don’t have the full game. With the success of Blackout within Black Ops 4, it looks like Infinity Ward will be brining a new Battle Royale experience to Modern Warfare, post launch for free! LongSensation, I reliable source within the community states that this BR will releasing in early 2020 for free but it will also still be connected to the main game in some way whilst IW dev’s have also said that we need to “wait and see” when asked about a BR within the game which seems to suggest that there may be something coming. Other rumours have suggested that this BR mode will also be massive in terms of player count with a reported 200 players per match. This seems like a bit of a longshot as having 200 players on one server on a large map sounds like it could cause some connectivity issues. Whilst 200 players sounds unlikely, it would give the mode a unique aspect that others cannot match so I’m hoping that it might actually happen! Of course, none of this is confirmed but I personally believe that we will have a BR within Modern Warfare and if it does end up being free, that could be a huge move by Infinity Ward! So Modern Warfare keeps getting bigger! I'm already pretty excited for the game and we do of course have the Beta coming up next month so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for more info.
