The time has finally come and after hoping and praying that they would drop it early, Infinity Ward have finally released the Modern Warfare Beta! Ever since pre-loads began on Tuesday evening, fans have been begging that they bring the servers online early like they did with the 2v2 Alpha last month but IW kept us all waiting this time! So anyway, the Beta is now live in early access for PS4 with the open phase of the Beta kicking off this Saturday and ending at 6PM Monday. The Xbox Beta early access starts next Thursday then transitions into Open for the weekend. In terms of content, right now you are apparently able to reach level 10 and have a play with numerous weapons. Modes available are 6v6 TDM and Domination with also 10v10 variants of both of those too. Headquarters is todays featured playlist which I’m assuming will change tomorrow. Of course, this is early access so if you want to be playing the Beta today, or within the Xbox One early access period next week, you need to pre-order a copy of the game. Whilst I’m not giving any thoughts just yet (that will be a separate article), the 2v2 alpha was a good experience and as the game is very different to previous COD’s, I highly recommend you get on this Beta asap.
