Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend! We’ve got a big week ahead of us as Kingdom Hearts drops tomorrow and we enter February which is going to be a huge month for new games! As always, we have our discussion topic for today alongside out this week where we will be having another look at KH3 before launch! Before all that though, lets have a little chat. How is everyone? I spent the weekend at a mates where we went out two nights on the bounce so I’m feeling a little worse for wear but its all good! We played a lot of FIFA and Fortnite to aid our recovery and one highlight came when my mate who has already packed a Messi this year, pulled a Ronaldo from a 25k Draft Reward pack, unbelievable scenes. I also watched a YouTube video that stood out to me last night and showed me that I really need to catch up on a lot of Nintendo games. I've been enjoying watching/playing Zelda BOTW again recently and I’m feeling like I need to crack my Wii U out and go back to some other Zelda titles! Maybe ill get around to that this summer as I aim to tackle a large section of my backlog after Uni finishes although by then, I’m sure there will be at least another 10 games added to it!

Discussion Week 4

Question: Are you a fan of Beta’s/Demos?

Georges Answer – In some cases yes, but most of the time no as I feel it ruins the hype of getting the new game as you’ve already played a section of it before. This is particularly apparent when it comes to COD as everyone already knows which weapons to use and how several maps play. I can however appreciate Anthem’s Beta system as you play the midpoint of the game so that you’re not replaying the first section again on launch which obviously improves the launch experience.
