Is the Recommend a Friend scheme available on all ShopTo Products?
The Recommend a Friend scheme is available on selected products only, including in-stock and pre order items.
How much will I earn when sharing a product?
The amount you receive depends on the product Recommend.
How many friends can I Recommend products with?
There is no limit on the amount of friends you can Recommend products with but you will only receive cash for the friends that make a purchase within seven days.
Where can I see how much I have earned through the Share & Earn scheme?
You Recommend a Friend balance will be shown in your account under the 'Recommend a Friend' section.
I have recommended a friend but my Recommend a Friend balance has not increased.
You will only earn cash when your friend has made a purchase within seven days after your recommendation.
Does the friend I recommend need a ShopTo account?
You can Recommend our products with anyone whether they have an account or not but the email you send the recommendation to must match the email linked to their account if existing. If they do not already have an account the recipient will need to register under the email you sent the recommendation to.
How do I use my Recommend a Friend balance to get money off ShopTo purchases?
Visit your account under the 'Recommend a Friend' section and click the 'Convert to Voucher' button, the voucher code can then be used in the checkout to redeem money off your purchase with us.
How can I cash in my Recommend a Friend balance?
To convert your Recommend a Friend balance to cash visit your account under the 'Recommend a Friend' section and click the 'Convert to Cash' button. This option will only appear if you have accumulated a Recommend a Friend balance of £10 or more.

  • The Recommend a Friend scheme is subject to change or withdrawal without notice
  • Recommend a Friend scheme is available on selected products only, including in-stock and pre order items
  • The amount of cashback received depends on the product Recommend.
  • You must have a ShopTo account to make recommendations but no prior purchase is necessary
  • Funds will show in your account only on confirmation of purchase from the friend you recommended
  • The recipient must make a purchase within seven days of the recommendation
  • There is no limit on the amount of friends you can recommend
  • For confirmation of purchase the recipients email must match their account email
  • If they do not already have an account the recipient will need to register under the email you sent the recommendation to
  • Recommend a Friend balance can be converted to a voucher code or cashed in
  • Voucher codes are unique to your account and cannot be used by anyone else
  • Recommend a Friend balance can be converted to cash if you have accumulated more then £10
  • Recommend a Friend balance converted to cash will go to your PayPal account - if your email on your PayPal account is different to the email on your ShopTo account please contact customer services to make us aware
  • Should you choose to close your account, if your remaining Recommend a Friend balance is under £10 it is non refundable
