As we edge every closer to the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield, today Nintendo gave us a hefty amount of new information! Instead of listing everything off, I’m going to summarize the news so without any further ado, lets find out what’s new in Sword and Shield! First up we got the reveal of a new from changing Pokémon called Morpeko which is a Pikachu looking electric and dark type mon. It has the ability to change from its standard Full Belly electric form to its dark Hangry form which looks kind of cool. Moving on, we got news of some Galarian regional forms including Weezing (which looks amazing by the way) and Zigazigoon/Linoone which now also evolve into Obstagoon. I kind of like these regional forms and I guess I owe them a lot as without them my favourite Pokémon Alolan Exeguttor wouldn’t exist! Moving on then we learnt about some of the new rivals within the game. Bede is a fellow trainer who fancies themselves to be the best trainer out there. Marnie is a competitive celebrity who has her own Morpeko and a legion of devoted fans. Those fans are known as Team Yell and will stop at nothing to ensure that Marnie becomes the poleman champion! Some more interesting features coming to one of the most important Pokémon games to date! We still have a while to go until the game launches on November 15th but im getting more and more excited with each new bit of info we receive!
